Hey, to all the people having issues seeing the pages– I was having the same problem since the beginning of American Idolatry using Internet Explorer and finally got fed up enough to download Firefox. Now I can see the pages no problem. So, like Kahvikuppo asked a couple posts above this: have you tried using another browser? I for one highly recommend it
For some reason Internet Explorer does not work when trying to view the pages (this also is the reason why the ‘Back’ button is not working properly.
We are not sure why this is and will try to figure out a fix but until then, try using Firefox to view the pages (and for a properly working back button).
Sorry for the inconvenience, computers piss me off sometimes.
I’ve been using firefox. The back button is all weird through the entire series, back to the beginning. Not sure if something in the code got jumbled or what, but it certainly makes it hard to skim the archives. Hope everything’s back up to shape soon.
Speaking as a Christian, this priest really doesn’t know how to give a proper sermon. He also cares more about himself than others. If he were devoted to his cause, he would stay behind and defend his congregation, not run away. As for the page itself, the architecture is wonderful. Especially lovely are the angel and the closeup of the stained glass window. I also think Fafnir’s color is very rich and deep.
Loving the comics thus far. @Amanda; Let’s see what your preist does when a $@%!*#! dragon bursts into the chapel. When I was devout, it happened to our church, the first one out was the priest!
I think something about the server don’t like IE. If you take the image link and put it in IE, nothing. Put the exact same link in Firefox *poof* Fafers glory. Maybe browser request formatting??? /shrug
@Amanda
You have to remember, though, that this series is highly tongue-in-cheek, satirical irony. The depictions shown are supposed to be extremely extremist views and personalities, thus when Faffer’s burninates them we feel better for the death of such wrongness.
What if you read this stuff on a work computer that’s not allowed to install or update browsers (for security reasons)? I”m stuck with IE and there’s nothing I can do Any luck finding a fix?
I can’t see the page…. It’s been like that since the first post of ‘American Idolatry’…. *whimper*
Neither can I
That’s because the image isn’t there. source code has a blank “” where the image file name should go.
Y’know, just for protocol; not all german priests are jackasses like that. Some can be really nice people, especially to the choir boys :$
The back button; is it ever going to be fixed? Just to see the few comics before this one I had to go through all of Bloodsuckers again.
Faffers aint gonna stomp kiddo. HE’S AFTER THE PRIEST CAUSE HE’S BEING A JACKASS MUAHAHAHA
Fafnir is surprisingly dainty when he moves
i see nothing, is broken picture
Lol glad I’m not the only one with back-button issues. Both of ‘em just toss you back to Barack to the Future. :<
And I thought you still hadn’t posted a comic when I merely forgot to press the conventional “next page” button. Shame on me.
Now if you don’t see the current page, I gotta ask: Have you tried another browser? Some of us see the pages just fine.
Fafnir’s back! i love this.
